Tips for Trips

There isn’t a nook or cranny in BC and Alberta where our campers haven’t been. Many have toured through Yellowstone in Montana, the Badlands in Saskatchewan, the Olympic Peninsula, east to Mount Rushmore, the Queen Charlotte Islands, and north to Alaska. Give yourself enough time for all the wilderness attractions along the way. Start your vacation from our rentals stations in Calgary and Vancouver. Here are a couple ideas for circle trips.

Two or three weeks trips (3000 – 5000 kms)

• Vancouver – Fraser Canyon – Cariboo – North Thompson – Yellowhead – Jasper – Icefields Parkway – Lake Louise – Radium Hot Springs – Rocky Mountain Trench – Kootenay Lake -Okanagan Valley – Manning Park – Vancouver.

• Calgary – Kananaskis County – Crows Nest Pass – Waterton Lakes – Highway to the Sun -Leavenworth Frontier Town – Inland Empire – Grand Coulee Dam – Arrow Lakes – Rogers Pass – Kicking Horse Pass – Banff – Bragg Creek – Calgary.

One or two week trips (1000 – 3000 km)

• Vancouver – Olympic Peninsula – Oregon Coast Sand Dunes and Sea Lion Caves – the Columbia Gorge – Grand Coulee Dam – Mount Shasta – Okanagan Valley – Vancouver.

• Calgary – Turner Valley – Old Man River – Castle River – Fort Macleod – Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump – Frank Slide – Bad Lands – Tyrell Museum of Paleontology – Calgary
